biography
Stuart Broad was born on the 24th June 1986 at Nottingham in England. He grew up at Waltham-on-the-Wolds and Whissendine and played for Egerton Park cricket club when he was younger.
For high school, he attended Oakham School in Leicestershire where he played a variety of sports. He played hockey and was originally an opening batsman for the cricket team. It was only when he began to grow taller and taller that he took up bowling...and was good at it, obviously. After leaving school, he spent 6 months of the winter season in Western Australia with a club there. There, he picked up some experience before coming back to England.
The next year (2005), he spent a few months in South Africa to get his stamina and fitness up.
Since then, he's played with Leicestershire for a few seasons, before moving to Nottinghamshire in 2007. He made his Twent20I debut first and then his ODI debut, and finally his test debut.
Rumour has it (my friend knows his mum), he currently lives in West Bridgford, a suburb in Nottingham (my uncle lives there eeeee).
Stuart Broad is a 22 year old England international cricketer who currently plays for the Twenty20, Test and ODI sides. He is a fast bowler, with a view to become a genuine all-rounder in the future. more?
